Honor Guard

Every 57 hours, a law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty.

On average 150 Law Enforcement Officers are killed each year.

The Town of Hamburg Police Honor Guard Is dedicated to the memory of each and every officer that has made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting their community.

Mission Statement

The Town of Hamburg Police Department Honor Guard has been established to represent the Town of Hamburg Police Department, its officers and families at police funerals, parades and other ceremonial occasions. It is our intention to assist all our past and present officers and their families during the time of emotional duress associated with the loss of a loved one.

Established in 2000 with the support of then Assistant Police Chief Carmen Kesner, The Town of Hamburg Police Honor Guard has represented the Police Department at numerous police funerals, community events and many special recognition events such as the annual 9-11 remembrance ceremony.
