Hamburg is located on the shores of Lake Erie, just 20 minutes south of the City of Buffalo. In addition to providing excellent recreational options, we offer ample shopping and fine dining. Because of our suburb schools, safe neighborhoods and business opportunities, we know you'll find Hamburg a fine place to grow a family or business.
Residents find employment in industrial and service industries within the To
wn and Metropolitan Buffalo. Police and fire protection, along with highway, sanitation, recreation, sewage services and facilities, are provided for the area by the Town or special districts under the supervision of the Town Board. The Villages of Blasdell and Hamburg are contained within the Town's boundaries.
Minutes away from Hamburg, you have Canada and Niagara Falls to the North; winery tours, Amish Country and the Chautauqua Institute to the South; ski resorts and amusement parks to the East and over 9,000 square miles of fishing, boating and water sports to the west.
The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is only a 20 minute drive from Hamburg, on the New York State Thruway.
