Veteran's Committee

The Town of Hamburg hosts a VETERAN'S COMMITTEE. This committee works with the various veteran organizations in the town to help meet and address the needs of our veterans.

Memorial Day Events

Saturday:   9:30 a.m. Memorial Service at Lakeside Cemetery Field of Valor, 4810 Camp Road,  in conjunction with VFW Post 1419 and Cub Scouts Packs 592 and 593.

Sunday:   1:00 p.m.  Blasdell Community Center, 54 Madison Ave, in conjunction with AMVETS Post 897 and Thomas E, Tehan Post 1449.

7:00 p.m. Veterans Concert, Village of Hamburg Memorial Park

Monday:  10:15 a.m. Parade Village of Hamburg in conjunction with American Legion Post 527.  Line- up is at the Union Pleasant School and the parade will end at the Village Memorial Park at approximately 11:00 a.m.

10:30 a.m. Lake View Community Association Parade.  Line- up is at 10:00 a.m. in St John Paul II parking lot and will end at the Lake View Fire Hall.

12:30 p.m.  Hamburg Moose Lodge 992, 45 Church Street, Annual Memorial Day Watchfire and Flag Burning Ceremony.

1:00 p.m.  Annual Memorial Day Ceremony, VFW Post 1419, 2985 Lakeview Road, Hamburg.
